Established in 1992, Bandar Country Homes (formerly known as Taman Desa) is an integrated township development located in Rawang in the Gombak district of Selangor. Bandar Country Homes was developed by Tanco Holdings Bhd, but the development of the remaining parcels has been taken over by Temasya Mentari Development Sdn Bhd under Desa Country Homes.
Bandar Country Homes emerged at the height of the property boom in Rawang and its surrounding areas, spurred by the construction of the North-South Expressway which drastically improved connectivity to Rawang from Kuala Lumpur. This has made Bandar Country Homes an attractive living option, especially for buyers who work in KL city centre.
