Overview

KL Sentral, “the City within a city”, is a multi-billion ringgit world class development built around Malaysia’s largest transport hub at Kuala Lumpur’s Brickfields area. The master plan, designed by a famous Japanese architect, involves a multi-phased 72-acre integrated city, some developments of which are still in progress. It boasts all the amenities and facilities imaginable to support a modern trendy lifestyle of convenience, luxury, health, wealth and global connectivity. From KL Sentral Station to Le Meridien Hotel to 1 Sentral, this multi-phased development attracts both expatriates and Malaysians to “live, work and play” here.

KL Sentral has won many awards of excellence in design, management and quality services while KL Sentral Station is the hub to bus and taxi services and multiple rail networks. They include the ERL for KLIA Express Link and KLIA Transit, RapidKL-LRT (Putra and Star), KTM Komuter and Intercity lines (ETS), KL Monorail and the soon-to-be completed MRL.

This self-contained commercial and residential hotspot is designed with a variety of buildings for multi purposes, which are interdependent to promote peace, harmony and humanity in a habitat that marries technology and nature. There are wide open spaces of greenery, plazas, driveways and walkways with well-planned roads and thousands of parking bays to ease traffic flow.

Amenities and facilities

Fitted out with international class accommodations and residences, shopping facilities, office suites, recreational and entertainment haunts, state-of-the-art public services and technologies as well as comprehensive security systems, KL Sentral’s multi-faceted integrated transport facilities further amplify the attractiveness of this splendid development. This freehold jewel of a real estate is accentuated by other hotspots, evident through the tremendous value appreciations and increasing rental yields over the years.

The essence of urban living is further exemplified by Nu Sentral Shopping Mall, the string of high-rise luxury hotels and condominiums as well as the many varieties of restaurants and cafes, not to mention the tall office buildings located within the overall scheme. The development itself is strategically situated next to the colourful and busy Brickfields city, close to Bangsar’s hotspot and quick driving distance to KLCC.

With other amenities like Brickfields’ “Little India”, Muzium Negara, government and international schools, multiple religious centres, Pantai Hospital KL, Mid Valley Megamall’s assortment of facilities and many more nearby, visitors, residents and workers are spoilt for choice when it comes to their needs and wants. It is food galore and shopper’s paradise, with the multitude of top eateries and retail outlets that range from budget to opulent.

Accessibility and transport

KL Sentral is well linked to KL and other parts of the Klang Valley via Jalan Tun Sambanthan and Jalan Travers. Jalan Tun Sambanthan in turn is linked to Jalan Syed Putra, which leads directly to KL and Petaling Jaya; while Jalan Rakyat, connected to Jalan Bangsar, leads to Bangsar and Pantai Baharu.

Plenty of bus stops are distributed all over Brickfields, besides KL Sentral being the station for various bus services. KTM Komuter goes all the way to Port Klang on one end and Batu Caves and Tanjung Malim on the other end, with all three routes dotted with several stops.  Taxis ply through KL Sentral constantly while KLIA, Monorail and LRT electric rail lines emanate from this central location, making the highly accessible KL Sentral the nerve centre of urban lifestyle, commerce and transportation.
