Overview

Situated in Kuala Lumpur and just about 15 minutes drive to the Kuala Lumpur city centre on a good day, Damansara Heights is a very mature and affluent neighbourhood. It is also known as Bukit Damansara.

Property Development

Properties Bhd is said to be the first developer in Damansara Heights, which was formerly a rubber plantation. The first office building in the area is said to be Wisma Damansara, was built by the developer in 1970.

If you take a drive around Damansara Heights, you will notice a good mix of terraced as well as huge bungalows there. Given its strategic location, properties in Damansara Heights have seen great appreciation in value over the years and a very much sought-after. It actually started out as a residential scheme for government servants decades ago. A quick search on listings for bungalows in the area currently for sale are priced from RM3 million to a whopping RM16 million.

The affluent neighbourhood has seen some new additions and upgrades in the recent years including Plaza Batai and the upcoming massive integrated development Damansara City by GuocoLand Malaysia.

Accesibility and Transportation

Easily accessible from Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, via various highways. It is also minutes from Bangsar, another affluent and bustling neighbourhood. There are various amenities close to the neighbourhood and malls minutes away including Bangsar Shopping Centre, One Mont’Kiara, Bangsar Village, Bangsar Village 2 and MidValley Megamall. There is also HELP College in Damansara Heights.
